The identity of Jackloc’s very special FIT Show guest was finally revealed to be none other than Her Majesty The Queen. Her Royal Highness joined the window and door restrictor specialists on their stand for Big Tuesday to celebrate the firm winning the most prestigious award in UK business, The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2017.

Such prestigious recognition is a huge reward for all the years we’ve spent developing our safety restrictors. Established over five decades ago, the awards have propelled UK businesses onto the world stage with an internationally-renowned symbol of excellence. Awards are presented by Her Majesty The Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister and an Advisory Committee, comprised of the Head of the Civil Service and representatives from government, the private sector and the Trade Unions.
Every year on the first week in April, a number of institutions and organisations share information and promote awareness for National Window Safety Week. The aim is to educate home owners and organisations on how to ensure windows are being used safely.
