The global success of family-run Leicestershire company Jackloc, based in Claybrooke Parva, has achieved prestigious regional recognition.
Out of 12 applicants for ‘East Midlands Chamber Small Business of the Year 2015’ award, Jackloc are delighted to have been chosen as one of the three finalists. The East Midlands Chamber’s 2015 Business Awards aim to recognise, reward and celebrate business excellence across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
The next step is a presentation to the judging panel at Leicester University on 29th July, following which the winner will be announced at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce 2015 Leicestershire Business Awards Dinner on September 9th.
Judith Burrows of Burbage, Director for Jackloc said: “We are delighted to have impressed the judges with our recent UK and overseas business growth for our innovative, locally designed and manufactured product that saves lives globally."
“Like everyone else in the county’s business community, I am looking forward to a fantastic gala evening when all the category winners will be announced.”
Over the last year, Jackloc has continued expanding into new overseas markets and won a landmark legal battle to protect its brand. The company has also stepped up its awareness-raising campaigning work, crusading the guiding ethos which drives the business, to save lives all over the world by reducing the risk of falls from windows. The window restrictor reduces the risk of falls from open windows by only allowing them to be opened to a safe degree.
